Ahadu Legesse’s education took place entirely in the Twin Cities, starting in his hometown of Anoka and finishing in Saint Paul. Each stage pointed toward the same interests that later defined his career: mathematics, business and solving practical problems.

At Metropolitan State University he concentrated on business operations, organizational management and information systems — a combination that maps closely onto the work he does today. Learning has continued well beyond the degree: he follows changes in workplace technology, attends workshops, and reads widely on management and leadership. Read how that education fed into his career.
